Carl DePinto, MBA is a Sr. Executive Director of Duke University and Duke Health Parking and Transportation Services, has more than 34 years of parking experience in healthcare, university, hospitality, and major sporting events. Duke University and Health has over 28,000 parking spaces and moves just under 4 million community members annually through its privately inhouse run transportation system on campus. Responsibilities include the university, medical center, major events, athletic parking and transportation and numerous offsite locations.
Prior to Duke, he was the first parking director for the largest medical center in the tri-state area and top 10 in the nation, New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System and Columbia and Cornell Medical Colleges. The portfolio includes numerous hospitals and medical schools as well as a residential portfolio of garage properties for employees that spanned across Manhattan and surrounding areas. Previous to this he served in a parking leadership role at Hackensack Meridian Health, the largest healthcare system in New Jersey. He served on numerous IPMI committees including the Professional Recognition and Excellence committee and is an active participant in NPA and numerous mobility and transit planning organizations in North Carolina. He has his MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
