Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00

Summary: The Deputy Director of Parking Services supports the daily operations and overall management of parking facilities and surface lots, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective services for residents, merchants, and visitors. This role leads a diverse, customer-focused team and fosters a culture of teamwork, integrity, and collaboration aligned with the City of Columbia’s service standards. Responsibilities include supervising staff, implementing policies and technologies, coordinating budgets, conducting audits and analyses of parking data, and supporting strategic planning efforts. The Deputy Director also engages with City leadership, handles inquiries, negotiates contracts, and ensures compliance with laws and city policies. The role requires physical and mental acuity, occasional standing or walking, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with shifting goals and priorities.
